RAINBOW (a poem by an aspiring teacher)
Rainbow
(Jessa
Mae Almeda)
I
see a curly kid wearing a skirt and shirt
With
her is a girl with hair so straight
They
walk side by side in the hall way
Where
all kids go everyday
Some
are white men
Others
are brown or tan
Some
with chinky eyes
Others
with big large ones
Individual
differences is present
In
these corners we grew and went
This
second home we call
An
institution we named school
With
so many different type of kids, culture
Different
religions and nature
Still
together we learn as one
So
that our own intelligence can’t be gone
In
this world whether we are high or low
It
represents a distinct rainbow
The
school is like a rainbow
All
knowledge is just there for us to know
